Terms and conditions of sale


Our terms and conditions of sale are detailed in the following 13 articles:



Article 1: Application of Terms and Conditions


All orders made on the Jeans-Industry.fr site shall only be processed after the customer accepts the terms and conditions. Jeans-Industry reserves the right to change or alter these terms and conditions. In the event of modifications, they shall apply to all orders according to the terms and conditions in application on the day of the order.


Article 2: Products, availability and special offers


Jeans-Industry sells ready-to-wear fashion and accessories for men and women. Prices are in euros and inclusive of tax. Our products all have an item card that gives a description. This description is as accurate as possible, but if, despite our precautions, one or more errors are made, we cannot be held responsible.  Offers are valid as they appear on the site and until stocks are exhausted. Stock statuses are updated after every order, i.e. 24/7. If a customer orders a product that is unavailable on Jeans-Industry, the site undertakes to inform the customer by e-mail or by telephone. If the customer is debited for an order where one or more products are unavailable, the site undertakes to refund the customer within seven business days of ordering. If a product is out of stock on an order consisting of several products, the site shall send the rest of the order and undertakes to pay a refund for the missing product(s) within seven days.


Article 3: Order


All orders made on the site are subject to the acceptance of these terms and conditions. To make an order, you must provide your full identity (surname, first name, e-mail address, postal address, post code) and create a customer account on our site. All orders are made on the jeans-industry.fr site. Orders are made on-line. Customers can contact us on our hotline for more information during opening times, from Monday to Saturday 10 am to 7 pm or by e-mail to jeansindustr43@gmail.com. After placing your order, you will receive an e-mail confirming your order.


Article 4: Price


All prices shown on Jeans-Industry are in euros and are inclusive of taxes. You must keep your invoice in case you need to make an exchange or request a refund.


Article 5: Dispatch and delivery


Jeans-Industry undertakes to deliver the items ordered on www.jeans-industry.fr within the stated timeframe, given in business days and shown in the order summary. The delivery timeframe is effective from receipt of payment. Concerning products that are temporarily unavailable, the customer will receive an e-mail informing them of the item’s dispatch and of the waiting time.

Article 6: Invoicing


For each order, an invoice is created on the day the products are sent.


Article 7: Payment methods


The following means of payment are accepted:

1. Bank card : At the time of payment, the customer is automatically directed to our bank's secure server. The customer can then enter their card number securely: the number is encrypted before being sent to our bank's server. The https (hyper text transfer protocol secured) address in the browser confirms data encryption.

2. Paypal : The customer connects to their Paypal account using their login and password. The Paypal account will be debited according to the payment conditions defined in the Paypal account.


Article 8: Withdrawal and return of products

In accordance with Article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the Customer has a period of fourteen (14) days from receipt of the Order to exercise his/her right of withdrawal from MIKA, without having to give reasons for his/her decision.

The right of withdrawal can be exercised either by sending the model withdrawal form shown in Appendix 1 of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale, by post, to the following address:

Procedures for returning the Order under the right of withdrawal :

The Customer may not exercise his/her right of withdrawal for a Product that has been used, worn, washed, damaged, unsealed or altered.

Products that are the subject of a withdrawal must be returned within 14 days following notification by the customer of their decision to withdraw.

The cost of returning Products returned by the Customer following his/her decision to withdraw shall be borne exclusively by the Customer.

Returned items must be accompanied by all accessories. Within the framework of this right of retraction, returned products that prove to be incomplete, damaged, soiled or washed will be refused reimbursement or a discount will be applied to the amount of the reimbursement. If the conditions necessary for the return are met, the order will be refunded to the buyer within a maximum of 7 working days from the date of receipt by Jeans-industry of the parcel, the return costs being borne by the customer. The costs and risks associated with the return are the responsibility of the buyer.

Consequently, it is the buyer's responsibility to keep all proof of this return. We therefore advise each customer concerned by the return of an item to send the items by registered post or colissimo or by any other means justifying the return of the parcel.

If the products delivered are not those that the customer ordered, and that this error was made by our services, the return costs are the responsibility of Jeans-industry.com in this case the customer must request a pre-stamped label via the contact us section.

Once the item(s) have been received, and if the returned parcel meets the return conditions, the parcel will be processed within 48 working hours.

Article 9: Limit of liability


Jeans-industry.com has an obligation of due care to the customer. However, any external intrusion (computer virus, etc.) originating from a disturbance to the service will not engage our site's liability. Consequently, no compensation can be claimed by the customer.


Article 10: Disputes


We are bound to our customers by French law only.

Article 11: Opposition to telephone canvassing

In accordance with article L.223-2 of the French Consumer Code, the Customer has the option of registering free of charge on a BLOCTEL telephone anti-soliciting list so that you are no longer approached by telephone by a professional with whom you have no current contractual relationship.

Article 12: Mediation

In the event of a dispute arising from an Order or sale, the Customer may submit a written complaint to Customer Services at contact@jeans-industry.fr. In this case MIKA and the Customer will endeavour to find an amicable solution. If no amicable agreement can be reached, the Customer may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer ombudsman to which MIKA belongs, namely the Association of European Ombudsmen (AME CONSO), within a period of one year from the date of the written complaint sent to MIKA, in accordance with article L. 612-1 of the Consumer Code.

Referral to the Consumer Ombudsman must be made :

Article 13: Force majeure

In the event of a force majeure event preventing performance of the Order or these general terms and conditions of sale.

The following are expressly considered to be cases of force majeure or fortuitous events, in addition to those usually accepted by the case law of French courts and tribunals: total or partial strikes, bad weather, epidemics, pandemics, blockage of means of transport or supply for any reason whatsoever, earthquakes, fire, storms, flooding, water damage, government or legal restrictions, legal or regulatory changes to forms of marketing, blockage of telecommunications, including wired or wireless telecommunications networks, and any other event beyond the control of the parties preventing the normal performance of the contractual relationship. All the obligations of the parties are suspended for the duration of the force majeure event, without compensation. If the force majeure event continues for more than four (4) weeks, the transaction concerned may be terminated at the request of MIKA or the Customer without compensation on either side.
